If you are looking for a gaming laptop under $1,000, Acer’s Predator Helios 300 has got you covered. The base model comes with Intel’s 8th Generation Core i7 4.1GHz processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 with 6 GB dedicated memory, and 16 GB of DDR4 rams- more than enough for modern games such as PUBG or Fortnite.
Although it has been on the market for a couple of years now, it is still an attractive offering given that it is the only gaming laptop around this price range that offers a 144Hz screen. This would also be a good device for you to handle all those renderings.

The only drawback that we could think of is its design. The red glows and angled corners certainly makes it stand out, but we would have preferred it if the appearance is a little bit more muted.
Furthermore, it is currently on sale. The retail price for one of these is $1,099, but if you buy at Amazon now, the price is only $999- you save $100 on your purchase.
